Frank Puckett, OD
Dr. Puckett has enjoyed the family practice of optometry since coming to Monument in 1978. In addition to general practice, Dr. Puckett specializes in working with children and adults with strabismus, amblyopia, and visually-related learning problems. He also treats glaucoma and eye infections, and manages pre and post-operative care of cataracts and LASIK. Dr. Puckett has been active in optometry both at the local and state level. He was pleased to receive the Colorado Optometrist of the Year award in both 1982 and 1989. In 2005, Dr. Puckett received Colorado Optometry's Distinguished Service Awared for his years of dedicated service to the profession. Dr. Puckett went to undergraduate school at Montana State University. He then graduated from the Pacific University College of Optometry in 1978, number one in his class. Dr. Puckett is a member of the local, state, and national optometric associations, and he is active in pursuing continuing education in new technologies and treatments for vision and visual disorders. Dr. Puckett is married and has three children. |

Thomas Wilson, OD
Dr. Wilson has been practicing optometry since 1987 and has a special interest in sports vision and neuro-optometric rehabilitation. Dr. Wilson received his Doctor of Optometry from the Pacific University College of Optometry and was awarded his Fellowship in Binocular Vision in 1992. Dr. Wilson has served on numerous committees and currently is on the board of a scholarship foundation for college bound low vision individuals. Dr. Wilson is on staff at Penrose Hostpital where he treats the visual problems of stroke and head injury patients. He has done extensive research with the Air Force Academy athletic department, working with teams in several sports. He recently co-authored a book entitled Sports Vision For Better Performance, a text designed to improve athletes' visual abilities. Dr. Wilson is married and has three children. |

Staci Perea McMullen, OD
Dr. Perea McMullen is a 2000 graduate of the Pacific University College of Optometry where she graduated with distinction. In 2004 Dr. McMullen earned her Fellowship in Binocular Vision, and she specializes in pediatric optometry and the treatment of visually related learning problems. Dr. McMullen also practices general optometry which includes family eye care, treatment of dry eyes, ocular disease, LASIK and surgery co-management, and contact lens fitting. Dr. McMullen has worked with and lectured extensively at local schools to emphasize the importance of efficient visual functioning. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Colorado Optometric Association and the Southern Colorado Optometric Society. Dr. Perea McMullen is married and has two daughters. |

Cynthia Cid, OD
Dr. Cynthia Cid has a special interest in treating ocular disease, many times allowing for early detection and treatment of systemic illnesses. Dr. Cid received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages from Stephen F. Austin State University and earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in 2004. Following graduation, she completed a residency in Ocular Disease including management of cataract, LASIK, glaucoma, and diabetic patients. She has completed the Anterior Segment Laser Certification and has successfully treated secondary cataracts and glaucoma patients with this modality. Dr. Cid is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Colorado Optometric Association. |

Thaddeus Daniel, OD
Dr. Thaddeus Daniel practices general optometry with a special interest in dry eye disease and ocular disease (eye infections, glaucoma) PRK/LASIK and cataract co-management.
Dr. Daniel is a 1990 graduate from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. Having graduated as a Certified Diagnostic and Therapeutic Optometrist, Dr. Daniel moved back to Wisconsin and practiced for sixteen years in Green Bay before selling his two office practice. While in Wisconsin he was one of only two dozen optometrists who received certification to do photorefractive keratectomy surgery (PRK). Since his move to Colorado and joining our MVC team in January 2008, he has taken over as our dry eye specialist for dry eye disease which has become very prevalent with our aging population, especially here with Colorado’s dry climate.
Dr. Daniel enjoys biking, hiking and skiing with his wife and four daughters when you can get him off of his Harley Davidson.
